Take a peek at Online Learning Methods at the Saudi Arabian School in Riyadh
Learning with such methods is implemented starting Monday (9/3). PJJ will end when there is a decision from the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia.
PJJ for elementary school students is divided into two categories, namely grades 1, 2, and 3 and grades 4, 5, and 6.
Learning for class categories 1, 2, 3 is done with an online application system.
The teacher delivers material directly to students. For grades 4,5 and 6, learning is carried out with a directed discussion system through online applications.
Applications for sixth grade students who will face school exams have been made by subject teachers.
The method used is blended learning. With this method, students are invited to explore learning resources from the internet.
Assessments are monitored directly, measurable, fun, and interactive.
Some of the sites used in this method include Edmodo, Kahoot, and Quizzizz.
Meanwhile, junior and senior high school students are invited to explore learning resources from the internet as an implementation of regular self-regulated learning.
Indonesian School Principal, Riyadh Abdulloh Syifa, explained that he directly controlled the PJJ method.
He is also included in the study group, both on WhatsApp and Facebook.
"Thus, I can directly control the implementation of PJJ," Abdulloh said as reported by the Ministry of Education and Culture page, Wednesday (3/18). (*)
